Roger's story and God's plan for his life are essential to the formation of Just One Opportunity and are what sets our organization apart from many other non-profits. Roger lived his early life in systemic poverty in Nicaragua. From an early age, Roger loved the Lord, and it was through God's grace and people investing in Roger that he was rescued from systemic poverty. Roger has a vision to bring a practical application of Christ's love to remote villages in Nicaragua.
Just One Opportunity - Key Nicaraguan Volunteer Team
We are only successful with our full-time and part-time volunteer staff in Nicaragua, each of whom was once a sponsored student of Just One Opportunity. We have loved watching them grow in the Lord and their responsibilities. Ana-Julia Orozco started as a promising sponsored student; she is now the in-country Field Director for Just One Opportunity. Jazmina Elizet loves the Lord and grew from volunteering in her free time with Just One Opportunity to working as the Project Coordinator.
